Christmas Greetings > 2002
2002
'Twas the day before Christmas, I was down by the bay Perched on the dock enjoying a cold winter day There were a few fluffy clouds in a sky so blue The water was calm with a ripple or two My gifts were wrapped; decorations were done I was looking forward to some holiday fun When out of nowhere there arose such a noise I forgot about Christmas, its pleasures and joys For out in the water was something roaring towards me Not sure what it was, I was ready to flee When all of a sudden it slowed and I saw It was nothing to fear or run from at all 'Twas a cherry red jet ski with a fat jolly elf I realized at once, it was Santa himself
Were 9 little reindeer in scarves and warm coats And there in the boats were presents and toys Ready to deliver to good girls and boys Santa was now near me on the pier And whispered something for you all to hear He wishes you all good health, love and cheer Today, tomorrow and all through the year And with a wave of his hand and a wink of his eye Magically they all flew up in the sky As they rose out of sight, we too want to say Merry Christmas, Happy New Year - have a great holiday *copyrighted material
